Old School Farm is a Nashville-based care farm and pottery studio fostering
supportive employment opportunities for our mission farmers while providing our community with locally grown food.
WHAT WE DO
-
Farm
Old School Farm (OSF) is a nonprofit organization that uses therapeutic farming practices for the benefit of vulnerable populations. We currently employ five “mission farmers” who grow, harvest & deliver produce to food insecure communities in Nashville through partnerships with local food programs.
-
Clay
In addition to the farm, we operate a pottery studio in downtown Nashville that employs one director and two mission potters. The studio hosts classes and sells handmade products from local vendors as well as products processed and packaged by mission farmers at OSF as a social enterprise to support the farm.
-
Education
OSF is committed to empowering our mission farmers by instructing and practicing natural, sustainable, and regenerative farming methods. Additionally, our dedicated staff members offer monthly Preservation Education classes that are available to the public in which you’ll learn techniques to extend the life of your fresh ingredients.

You’ll also enjoy a tea bar filled with teas dried and blended at the farm, bingo with prizes and live music! Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit our mission as we work to employ adults with disabilities and donate produce to our community.
